Beaver Creek celebrated in style bringing in the New Year!  Families enjoyed fabulous music by Shannon Tanner for Après Ski. Beaver Creek Village was decorated beautifully as well as the entertainment throughout the village.  Beaver Creek always knows how to do things first class!!

On a gorgeous sunny day with warm temperatures and bright blue skies, where is the place to be?  The Park Hyatt at Beaver Creek puts on a fun pool party.  With DJ’s spinning their music and people playing a variety of outdoor games, you don’t want to miss it!   You will see that it is quite a setting with Beaver Creek Mountain as your views!

Summer is in full swing and the activities are plentiful in the Vail Valley!  Here are just some photos of the many summer activities that you could be enjoying!  When you think of Vail, typically it is associated with skiing.  The secret to the amazing area is the summer weather, gorgeous scenery and the many things to do!

Vail Village is the place to be this weekend!  It is bustling with athletes, spectators and dogs!  You will not believe how many people are in town to watch the Teva Games!  It looks as buy as Christmas time!  Throughout Vail Village, you will find many booths featuring exciting products and services.  Gore Creek highlights the kayakers doing daring tricks!  In Golden Peak, many people are gathered to watching the “Dock Dogs” in jumping competition.  There are fun things for children do experience as well as races such as mountain biking and mud runs.  In addition, the weather is spectacular!! 

Beaver Creek was the place to be this weekend!  The weather finally warmed up and friends and families gathered to enjoy a wonderful festival in Beaver Creek. There is nothing more fun then great music, food, activities and drinks in the gorgeous setting of Beaver Creek Mountain.  Wow!    What is even more exciting is that summer is just around the corner!!  So many exciting events ahead!!  We will keep you posted!

Vail Mountain has had an exceptional ski season!  It is the last weekend and it is still snowing!  In the last 48 hours, Vail Mountain received 10 inches and in the last 7 days, the mountain received 29 inches.  Pretty amazing since it is April 23^rd!  With all this snow, Vail Village has beautiful scenery!  The heavier spring now sits on the tree branching creating a peaceful and beautiful picture!

Spring is in the Rockies and the many exciting events continue!  The warmer weather is another benefit to come out and enjoy the festivities.  Right now, the Taste of Vail is beginning.  You will find restaurants hosting top chefs and wines in a intimate setting for guests to enjoy.  Vail Village is the location for today’s Lamb Cook Off and tomorrow you can enjoy the Mountain Top Picnic where you will find wineries from around the world and specialty dishes for some of the best restaurants around!  Of course the event finishes with the elegant Grand Tasting!  We will be excited to keep you updated through pictures.  Hope to see you there!

Vail is fortunate again to host the American Ski Classic at Golden Peak in Vail Village!  This year is the 29th anniversary, the Korbel California Champagne American Ski Classic offers a variety of on-hill competitions including the Conway Cup community team race, Volvo Legends Giant Slalom and the Korbel Ford Cup celebrity team racing and the Future Legends Race.

This event is not just about skiing.  Ticket holders can to enjoy the special experiences such as a “Tea Party”, “Casino Night”, and special seating to watch the races where wonderful food and drink can be had!  Here are photos from a gorgeous Saturday!  Enjoy!

Vail has so many exciting winter activities in addition to skiing.  If you like adventure and luxury, we have a great evening for you!  Near Ski Cooper, which is on the way to Leadville, you will find Tennessee Pass. ( It is also part of the Hut system that is another great adventure for the summer.)  Once you arrive, you will be in the spacious Tennessee Pass Nordic Center where you can rent snowshoes, cross country skis and kids sleds.  A wonderful trail awaits you which will take you to the Cookhouse for a fine dining experience.  After about a mile of enjoying fresh air and amazing scenery, an elegant four course meal awaits you.   The Yurt is beautifully lit by candles on tables and surrounded by friends.  If you are interested, reservations are needed.  Feel free to contact us for more details!

Beaver Creek and gorgeous spring skiing!  What a combination!  People enjoying a wonderful day on the slopes and then end the day with a delightful meal in one of the fabulous restaurants in Beaver Creek.  The lucky few who are outside on the deck of the Beaver Creek Chop House will receive complimentary champagne.  What a life!

Vail and Beaver Creek are having a great ski season, although Vail has had better luck with the snow storms!  Over the past 7 days, Vail Mountain has received 40 inches of snow and Beaver Creek has 15 inches of new snow.  We thought you would enjoy some fresh powder pictures of snowboarding through the trees!  Hopefully, you can get out on the slopes and take advantage of all the fresh snow!
